San-ai Kogen Hotel is located at the Senomoto which is the plateau of 1000 meters above sea level in outer rim of Aso Mountain. It is the place to be called the East Tyrol. At hotel, five Mountains in Aso is in front, on the other side is Kokonoe mountains overlooking. Hotel offers large baths with panoramic views, open-air baths and a private bath available for families.45 minutes on bus from JR Aso Station bound for Beppu. Get off at Senomoto and 10 minutes walk. 30 minutes by taxi from JR Aso Station.
