The front lobby building was an Okuhida mansion built by Hida artisans and the white-walled exterior and lobby and lounge sections revive a traditional style of rooms with wooden floors. Guests can relax as they savor specially prepared Hida seasonal cuisine in authentic Japanese-style guest rooms built as tea-ceremony pavilions. 60 minutes by bus from JR Takayama station bound for Shin Hotaka, get off at Uejigane Kogen. 50 minutes by car from JR Takayama station.
