Mikuni Kanko Hotel is built on the scenic heights overlooking the Sea of Japan, and consists of two buildings, the east building based on European-style rooms, and the west building based on Japanese-style rooms. A whole view of the Sea of Japan can be commanded from a guest room, and the view of the sunset is moving. It is romantic to see the fishing fire at night. They offer both European and Japanese cuisine with fresh sea food from the Sea of Japan.25 minutes on bus from JR Awara Onsen Station bound for Tojinbou via Mikuni and get off at Mikuni Kanko Hotel-mae. 15 minutes by taxi from JR Awara Onsen Station.
