Hotel Kofukan is situated in a convenient onsen village near the Myoko Kogen Station serving as the gateway to the Myokokogen area. The view of Mount Myoko from the new wing is exquisite. The annex is situated amid a quiet setting from which Mount Madarao and other mountains of Okushinano can be seen. In addition, guests can always enjoy some premium Niigata sake called Secchubai. Dishes made with fresh seafood caught from the Sea of Japan are also highly favored. In 2004, an onsen building with an open-air bath and private baths were opened.3 minutes on bus from JR Myoko Kogen Station bound for Ikenotaira Suginosawa. Get off at Myoko onsen iriguchi and 1 minute walk. 3 minutes by taxi from JR Myoko Kogen Station.
