Facing Amakusa-nada open sea, near the public ashiyu (foot bath) where onsen (hot spring) can be enjoyed easily. Only 5 mins. by car to the scenic Todoroki-no-taki Falls along the Shimotsu-Fukae River. This dignified hotel was used by the Imperial family, including the Emperor himself. The sunny guestrooms overlook the East China Sea. Spacious special rooms are also offered, including maisonette-type rooms. Guests can enjoy kaiseki (traditional multi-course dinner) cuisine crafted from fresh local seafood in Japanese and Western styles at the restaurants. A selection of imported Portuguese wine is also offered. The large communal bath is supplied with onsen water rich in iron for relaxing warmth. 90 mins. by car from Misumi Station.
