This old-established ryokan (traditional Japanese-style inn) has a history of over 700 years and is located in Arima Onsen. The guestrooms are set in a traditional Japanese-style and overlooks the beautiful garden or Mt. Rokko. There are also rooms that feature a massage chair and a private open-air bath located on the top floor. Guests can enjoy soaking in an unique reddish onsen (hot spring) water, known as one of the oldest types of onsen water in Japan, at 3 different communal baths including an open-air bath. Exquisite Japanese-style cuisine cordially prepared with seasonal delicacies from Arima is offered at the restaurant. 5 mins. on foot from Kobe Railway Arima Onsen Station. 15 mins. by car from Chugoku Expwy.
