15 mins. by car from Tojimbo, a scenic spot of strangely shaped rocks protruding from the Sea of Japan. The ryokan (traditional Japanese-style inn) features as many as 36 guestrooms equipped with an open-air onsen (hot spring) bath. The 4th and 5th floors are occupied by rooms equipped with bathtubs of different types. Guests can enjoy dishes crafted from local delicacies, served on selected plates in the restaurant's private room. "Bettei Biyu" offers Suite rooms with an open-air bath, and dinner is served in the room. The large communal bath enables guests to feel the fresh breeze in an open-air bath opening onto the corridor-style garden, and an indoor bath with a dome roof. Located 10 mins. by car from JR Awara-Onsen Station.
