A ryokan (traditional Japanese-style inn) located near Oyu, one of the history-ridden communal baths of Bessho Onsen. Japanese-style rooms filled with the scent of tatami mat flooring overlook a relaxing view of the surrounding landscape. A large communal bath and open-air bath using ethnic yin-yang design and the ambient lamp lighting, as well as an open-air rock bath with a Japanese flair are provided. After soaking in natural onsen (hot spring), famed for its skin smoothing properties, guests can enjoy original kaiseki (traditional multi-course dinner) cuisine made from seasonal ingredients of the Shinshu region. 25 mins. on foot from JR Ueda Station. 30 mins. by car from Joshin-etsu Expwy.
