Located at the center of a hot spring resort, near Tokko-no-Yu, which is a public onsen (hot spring) facility. The guestrooms are registered as cultural properties, so that guests may enjoy the historic ambience while staying in traditional rooms. The rooms open upon the Katsura River or the hotel garden that provides guests with a truly relaxing stay. Guests can enjoy monthly kaiseki (traditional multi-course dinner) cuisine, carefully crafted by top quality chefs. There is a dignified large communal bath and an open-air bath surrounded by trees in the hotel garden provided with onsen water. Located 10 mins. by bus from Shuzenji Station to the onsen. 3 mins. on foot from the bus terminal.
