Located at the gateway to the onsen (hot spring) resort. The ryokan (traditional Japanese-style inn) has a long history of 120 years. The nostalgic suite rooms and luxury guest houses provide guests with luxurious comfort throughout their stay. Guests can enjoy original cuisine crafted from seasonal ingredients at the restaurants. The large communal bath enables guests to enjoy the onsen baths, including a bathtub which was formerly a large pot used for sake brewing and an indoor bath that faces Fushimiga-taki falls. Across the river is the Noh theater, where local performing arts can be seen every night. 15 mins. by car or bus from Aizu-Wakamatsu Station on the JR Ban-etsu-sai line.
