10 mins. by car from the Zempo-ji temple, which has a history of 1200 years and an aquarium showing the most kinds of jellyfish in the world. The guestrooms are decorated in light colors, all of which open upon an ocean view overlooking the beautiful sunset. There are suite rooms on the top floor equipped with an onsen (hot spring) bath, so that guests may relax in a private environment. At the hotel restaurant guests can enjoy Japanese dishes mostly crafted using local ingredients, such as fresh seafood, local beef and selected vegetables grown by affiliated farmers. The restaurant is located in a Western-style building established in the Taisho period (1912-1926). 25 mins. by car from Tsuruoka Station on JR Uetsu Main Line.
