30 mins. by bus from JR Naganohara Kusatsuguchi Station, located in the Kusatsu hot spring village just behind the quiet forest of Japanese birch and larch. Guestrooms offer a view of the Kusatsu Highland’s nature. The hotel has a large communal bath with hot spring water and also five private baths including a bath made from Japanese Hinoki cypress and a Shigaraki-yaki ceramic bath. The main restaurant in the hotel, Jurin Garden serves as many as 55 Japanese, western and Chinese dishes for dinner and 40 Japanese and western dishes for breakfast as a buffet meal, satisfying the taste buds of each individual. 60 mins. from JR Nagano Shinkansen Karuizawa Station by shuttle bus, 80 mins. by car from Kan-etsu Expwy.
